Jewish Physician Group (JPG) provides a full continuum of care. JPG includes primary! care and specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, orthopaedics, psychiatric and counseling, colon cancer screening program, and diabetes center. JPG continues to meet the needs of the community by providing quality physicians and staff to care for patients of all ages with locations throughout
Jefferson
and surrounding counties.
This role is responsible for operator, receptionist and referral duties to support patient, visitor and physician satisfaction. This role may have direct or indirect contact with various patient populations including pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Essential Duties:
Schedules appointments, answers telephones, responds to questions, provides non-medical information and takes messages for physicians.
Greets visitors and patients; registers patients for appointments - collects demographic information and copies insurance cards.

Facilitates general flow of office activities.

Performs basic clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, faxing and light typing.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Two years experience in a health related or human service organization preferred
