As an ideal candidate, you are an e nthusiastic and collaborative Technology leader with a strong and diverse skill set focused on leading and driving Post Merger Integration activity with cross-functional Technology teams to achieve our M&A objectives across all phases of the M&A deal and integration lifecycle.
This role will serve as the primary point of Technology leadership specific to our Post Merger Integration activity, including the oversight of Advanced Integration Planning with Cross-Functional Technology teams, Integration Delivery Governance bringing assurance to Technology and Business leadership on execution performance and the ongoing development and strengthening our overall management practices specific to Post Merger Technology Integration.

This role applies to someone with significant experience in Program Management operating at senior levels within an organization. At this level the Director, M&A Technology Integration Programs will be acting at a strategic level leader across a complex mergers and acquisitions program. They will provide intensive advice to senior level project managers and managers across the Technology function in order to contribute to the overall M&A strategy as well as lead and develop project managers.

- Lead the ongoing development of the M&A Project and Program Mgmt. Practices
- Provide direct management, coaching and mentoring of the M&A Project and Program Management resources
- Lead Advanced Integrated Planning efforts Cross-Functionally across Technology Teams introducing Deal / Integration Objectives / Drivers and Due Diligence from the outset
- Establish Strategic Integration roadmaps for all integration projects and programs
- Lead Integration Delivery Governance providing scrutiny, assurance and driving improved execution performance
- Lead the effective management of risk, issues and dependencies across all active integrations and drive mitigation or escalation as appropriate
- Effectively engage across the M&A Deal Lifecycle with Integration Management Office (IMO) partners representing Sysco Technology teams
- Effectively communicate confirmatory due diligence and discovery findings to Sysco Technology Due Diligence Governance and key Stakeholder groups such as the Integration Management Office (IMO)
- Lead and work across the Technology M&A Community of Practice (CoP) to finalize and agree on integration approaches and improvements to overall management practices
- Promote standard, repeatable processes that drive consistency in delivering integration projects and improved execution performance resulting in the delivery of agreed outcomes
- Work across Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to develop standard communication plans specific to Post Merger Integration activity
- Collaborate with acquired IT associates and partners to extend standards into the acquired technology organization
- Support the Snr. Director for Technology Strategy and Portfolio in delivering monthly M&A updates to Technology Leadership Team (TLT) and Integration Management Office (IMO) partners
- Partner across Technology Teams Cross-Functionally to develop Transition Plans and Strategic roadmaps beyond initial integration timelines
- Partnering Cross-Functionally across Tech teams develop appropriate accelerators that both compliment and supplement our management practices for Post-Merger Integrations
- Apply continuous improvement and an evergreen approach into our best practices by applying lessons learned from each integration project
Daily and monthly responsibilities:
- Act as the global Technology M&A Integration Lead.
- Establish management practices that align with best practice including clear governance, reporting and guidelines that ensures consistency and repeatability across Post-Merger Integration projects
- Continuously design, develop and implement project and program capabilities and new ways of working in partnership with the M&A community of practice
- Provide oversight of the M&A Technology Integration Portfolio Pipeline partnering across the M&A community of practice and Integration Management Office
- Monitor the execution performance and progress ensuring that delivery is being met identifying any actions required to remain on track in order to meet integration objectives
- Facilitate M&A Community of Practice to continuously Identify key opportunities for improvement
- Prepare Integrated Governance reporting, statistics, key performance indicators and other management information for stakeholder groups e.g., Technology Leadership Team, Integration Management Office
- Partner closely with our FP&A (Finance) partners to continuously drive improvement and accuracy across our financial forecasting processes for integration projects and programs
- Build and maintain relationships across all Tech function department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions across integration execution
- Lead the team with integrity and establish a culture of trust, inclusion and productivity
- Drive growth of assigned resources in core capabilities by modeling behaviors and coaching others on management and leadership skills required in a large, global, enterprise organization
